Dentures are fake teeth that are removable and composed of acrylic (plastic), nylon, or metal. They fit securely over the gums to replace lost teeth and prevent gaps from causing difficulties.
Missing teeth leave gaps that can make eating and speaking difficult, and teeth on either side of the gap may grow into the area at uneven angles.
Occasionally, all of the teeth must be extracted and replaced.
As a result, you may require one of the following:
Complete dentures (a full set) replace all of your upper or lower teeth, whereas partial dentures replace just one or a few lost teeth.
